The mini dogs were excellent. Made me feel like a kid again. Wasnt too fond of the hot dog. Tasted kinda salty. Definetly have some of the best drink specials and weekly specials around Mesquite.
Da Boyz Sports Bar and Grill
About this place
Da Boyz Sports Bar and Grill sits in a strip center on West Oates Road in Garland, part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, and has built a loyal following as a go-to spot for catching a game on one of its many big-screen televisions. The room is set up as much for hanging out as for eating, with four pool tables, dart boards, a shuffleboard table, and a punching-bag machine keeping the crowd busy between innings and quarters.
The kitchen runs a straightforward American bar menu: build-your-own burgers on a fresh bun or Texas toast, a Philly sandwich with provolone and au jus, chicken-fried steak with gravy, and a rotating list of wings that includes Cajun and buffalo styles. Sweet potato fries and tater tots are regular favorites, and the pizza and sampler platters make the menu easy to share across a table of regulars watching the same screen.
The vibe stays casual and loud in the best way, with daily drink specials, karaoke nights, and a crowd that skews toward regulars who know the bartenders by name. It suits a group looking for a low-key spot to watch the game, shoot pool, or grab a late bite, with the bar staying open past midnight on weekends. Ample parking and multiple entrances make it easy to get in and out even on a packed Sunday.

My second place from home when I lived in Texas. I haven't been back in 2 years and it hasn't changed, great services great food and great people to hang out with that you can call family and friends.
Very foul oder as soon as I walked in. Tryed to ignore it and enjoy a beer and fried pickles but it never went away. Not sure if it always stinks in there, but will definitely not return or recommend until they get that issue fixed. Fried pickles were good though.
Just a boring dive bar. Service is horrible as they play with their phones instead of helping customers
Mon. June 17- Great neighborhood bar with plenty of seating, TV monitors, and pool tables. Hubby and I met some friends to watch the game. Nice vibes and service. We had a good time and the nachos were delicious 🤤 They have good drink specials and the prices are reasonable. I had to update my review to reflect the obvious changes. Yes, we will be back. 👍I went with hubby to hangout and have a couple of drinks and he played a few games of pool. They had a few drink specials. It seems like they have there regular customers. Service was a bit slow because there was only one person behind the bar.
I had such a great experience with me and my girlfriends please go. It’s a go to place where it plays all type of equal music. Great food wonderful drinks in the staff and management team was so helpful and sweet to us. I’m definitely going back.
bartender was very rude, wouldn’t get to me and my friends in enough time. Maybe because of our skin. Not sure, she was white with a bob. We didn’t think we were welcomed.
Nice little nieghborhood bar. Not many other options around so it'll do. The food is surprisingly good. I'm removing 2 stars because it smells a little putrid in there, especially the mens room. Smells like their plumbing is backed up. I dont like dookie smell when beer drinking
